Job Description

As a Shift Supervisor at Sandwich Sandwich, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the store manager in the day-to-day operations, work alongside regular team members on shift whilst taking on increased responsibility for ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily food safety checks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining overall store cleanliness.

Job Description

  • Conduct daily food safety checks and maintain records accordingly.
  • Work alongside the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and food products.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
  • Supervise and motivate a diverse team.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Assist in staff training and development initiatives.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory levels and place orders as necessary.
  • Uphold brand standards and contribute to a welcoming store environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience as a duty manager or shift supervisor in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in conducting daily food safety checks and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
