Sandwich Sandwich, a bustling sandwich deli chain in Central London, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about food and customer service, looking to grow in a fast-paced, environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the kitchen team with food preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for service.
- Help prepare sandwiches and other menu items to the highest standard.
- Support the hot food service during breakfast and lunch hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, ensuring that hygiene standards are always upheld.
- Stock up supplies, organise storage areas, and keep kitchen workstations tidy.
- Help with any other duties as required by the kitchen team or manager.
Requirements
- Must be available from 6am for early morning starts.
- Able to work Monday to Sunday, on a 5-day shift basis (days off will vary weekly).
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a busy kitchen environment.
