Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team in Central London. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the area, possess a clean UK driving licence, and demonstrate exceptional driving skills, particularly in navigating the bustling streets of London. As a Delivery Driver for Sandwich Sandwich, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are delivered promptly and with the highest level of customer service to our corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport food orders to designated locations in Central London.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries during early morning starts.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Work to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving in London, with a clean UK driving licence.
- Excellent knowledge of Central London and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, 5 days a week, with flexibility for occasional overtime as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
- Previous experience in food delivery or a similar role is preferred but not required.
